last night me and kins and the kay girl decided to watch a walk to remember.

what a movie.
what a reminder of love.
what a memorie snatcher.
it took me right back to 6th grade, with most of the sisters there in the basement watching and all crying our eyes out.
it took me to the hills outside of bullfrog with no a/c and not caring because lake powell was an hour away.
it took me to the top of the house boat singing and doing homework and lazing in the warm september water with not a single care in the world.
it took me to the beach watching grandma sweep it to make it perfect for us swimmers.
it tooke me to the choppy main channel water watching uncle bryan manuver through to make the worst situation the best one.
it took me to all the wonderful times i had when i was so in love with this fellow.
it made me miss those i have lost, but it was also a lovely reminder of things to come.
it's crazy what something so simple, like a movie that came out when you were 11 will do to the head.
i now remember why memories are so wonderful and should be held so close to the heart.
you never know when that person will be yanked out of your arms and put to work on the plan God has for them instead.
Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. -The Wonder Years

I watched this a few weeks ago and it brought back a lot of memories that you posted that involved me. Love it. Love that I still love it. Lake Powell with you, Denise, Jamie, and me were some of the most vivid ones. Loved that trip.
So true! That movie brings back so many Lake Powell memories! Love you!
