california lovely california

the castle at night time. it was so great, i was going to see if i could snag some fast passes for a ride and it just so happened to be when the castle was being completely lit up. they have a whole ceremony for it! i loved loved loved it and took a break to just sit out in front and to the side of it and dwell in the magic

dan outside of its a small world. what a perfect ride without the christmas spirit, but with them singing jingle bells along with its a small world, and with everything in there sparkling and the different signs saying merry christmas it was just grand.

all but tayzle standing by the giant beautiful christmas tree at the end of a magical day. what a beautiful tree and a beautiful place!

earlier in the day we went back to toon town and they decorated for christmas like they decorate that wonderful little town all of the other holidays. BIG and WIGGLY. it was so cute and i am so sad i didnt get a picture of the tree... sad day but oh well it poses for a reason to go back next time. this was in front of goofy's house. someday i will decorate my house like his!

so happy late thanksgiving my dear bloggers. i was busy playing in disney land with my favorite family. it was such a beautiful time to be there and although its disney and people usually are not all that nice i do believe they possibly could have been a little bit nicer with some good old holiday cheer about them. It was just such a grand quick trip! there is truly no better place to be at a holiday than disneyland. the lights were phenomenol, the rides all christmased out were wonderful and the castle was just such a sight to see! wowsers!

you may be wondering where the flowers play into all this... well i didnt want to post two times so we are combining. recently i took one of two exams to become a licensed cosmotologist, and when i got done and passed gloriously i just had to go on with my day at school and such. but when i pulled into my driveway for lunch some unexpected visitors jumped out of their car with so many flowers! thanks karen and nate! it was such a lovely thing and i cant believe that they and whoever else helped with it were so wonderful! thats you mom :) and crazily enough that is the most flowers i have ever received... gotta love it

clear up..

ok so the rumor is out that there is a naked scene in the newest HP... i for one was devastated when i heard that there was naked scenes, and wanted to look into it farther to see what the deal was. seriously kids all over the world love this and so to clear things up a tad for all those who still are on the fence or really want to see it read this article from the Salt Lake Tribune

It apparently doesn't take much to get people hot and bothered -- just mention the words "nude scene" and "Harry Potter" in the same sentence.
News reporters were abuzz last week with the story that co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson would be in some state of nakedness in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" -- and reporters (like KSL's Cleon Wall) dutifully got up in arms on behalf of panicky parents.
The rumors were totally fact-free, of course, as the parents being interviewed and the reporters stoking the "outrage" had not actually seen the movie.
The Cricket has seen the movie (wait until Friday, when the movie opens nationwide, for the review), and can now bring some facts to the table. (The obligatory SPOILER ALERT warnings should be heeded now.)
Radcliffe is indeed shirtless, while Watson told MTV News that she was wearing a strapless bra.
Both were also wearing silver paint to create a nightmare effect for poor Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) -- whose worst fear is that Hermione (Watson) would reject the poor-but-valiant Ron for the illustrious Harry Potter (Radcliffe).
They are seen in this state for about 3 seconds.
They are seen with enough mist, smoke and special-effects additions that any flashes of skin are obscured.
The movie is rated PG-13, "for some sequences of intense action violence, frightening images and brief sensuality."
This is not the first movie in the series to earn a PG-13; "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" did, too. Those films, though, earned their ratings only for violence and frightening images.
Parents need to remember something about the "Harry Potter" series, both as books and movies: Harry Potter grows up, so what's appropriate behavior in the first installment (when the character was 11) and what's appropriate in the final chapter (in which he comes of age) are different.
The fans have grown up right along side Harry. Preteens who read "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" when it first came out are adults now, and don't expect to see their beloved hero remain a kid forever.
And why would parents be upset now over a 3-second bit of sensuality (which, in context, is integral to the story and to the development of Ron's character) when they weren't upset about the PG-13 bloodshed and violence that has already been seen in two of the previous six movies? Particularly when the MPAA is notorious for being much harsher in its ratings regarding sexual content than regarding violence?
Two words to the parents, and to the reporters who want to gin up a controversy where there is none: Chill out.

they said it not me. now decide if you are going to go or not from the truth rather than the rumor.

hours....

78 hours until HARRY POTTER!!!!!
finished the 7th for the last time before the movie comes out...
this movie and the next are such bittersweet ones to me.
this- the beginning of the end
the next-the end of the end.
sad day. one the flip side i am being a death eater for the premier! WEEEEEE
and if i can get the gilberts to dress up i want alli to be luna, gretch hermione, and scot to be a malfoy of his choice.
they are all PERFECT for the parts minus the meanness of malfoyss, but hey he has blonde hair! and it would just be so fun to be the extreme movie goers, because lets face it i am an extremist!

Done

today i figured something out about myself. Something i possibly have known deep down for awhile but it became clear today.
i am a runner.
in psychology you learn that people have one of two instincts, fight or flee.
i am the prime example of flee. when i am done with somewhere or something i stop being there or doing it. i dont know if that's necessarily a good thing, but it's who i am, it's what i do.
lately i have not been happy nor sad. just existing.
Today i figured out why. I am done.
i am done with school
i am done with utah county
i am done with feeling like no men i am attracted to feel the same
i am done doing the same monotonous things day to day
i am done telling people that no i am not dating
i am done telling people that my life consists of work and school and nothing more
i am done with just dreaming. life is too short to only dream i need to start turning dreams into reality
i am done with wishing i had enough money to visit my dear sisters and precious nieces and nephews for the weekend
i am done crying over stupid things that are not worth my tears
i am done with girls telling me one thing and meaning or saying other things to other people. why cant people be real?
i am done

Part of me wishes that i could move on, go somewhere new meet new people, but then i think i need to overcome this weakness of mine and buck up. fight sue, not flee.
but fight for what?
a cosmo license?
love?
change of heart?
change of schedule?
money?
tear ducts that don't work?
nice girls?

i just miss the days when the world was simple. all that i worried about was what me and cait were going to do that weekend or that night, and if mom and dad would let me go.
it's time for a change of seasons. that i feel is the only way i can have a change of attitude.
SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE

break up song

someday if i ever break up with anyone again i do believe i am going to listen to this song... i have been hearing it all the time at school and such but not ever listening to it and tonight as i watched the music video it just brought up all of these feelings of "why do boys have tobe so dumb?" and "why are boys boys rather than gentlemen?" and "why do boys have to go around breaking girls hearts and not even realize it!?" and i love this video the dancers are so eccentric and the dancing violence is so rad. i kind of sort of wish i could dance like that instead of like the dead fish that i resemble now. anyways have a lovely eve, i promise i am not depressed or lonely or anything just thoughtful!

so here is the fashion show that i was recently in! my lovely models were all PERFECT for their positions and me with some other friends decided to debute james and the giant peach. so here we have the grasshopper, worm, centipede, and spider of which i did the hair for. miss spider is to thank for the marvelous makeup and it was such a phenomenal evening and we pulled it all together so quickly it is hard to believe it happened! and yes alli the worm does in fact have a mcdonalds cup in her hair holding it up that was being drank moments before put in her hair. i have not heard yet from averie centipede how long it took to take out her hair but know that for alli worm it was around 40 minutes. THANKS models! you were all perfect perfect perfect! haha and the squinting eyes is a shot for kirsten! i am being a christmas elf and am in fact sitting here listening to christmas music and loving it~

albus Dumbledore
Do not pity the dead, Harry, pity the living. Above all, pity those who live without love. By returning you may ensure that fewer souls are maimed and fewer families are torn apart. If that seems to you a worthy goal, then we say goodbye for the present.

fall

So i wasn't ready for fall.......
Summer never happened in the world of sue, it was just school school and more school.
But today we went up in the mountains after church and as we were driving i realized that its ok that fall is here.
I enjoyed summer, and can't stop it from going away so bring on the fall.
And to remind myself that yes indeed summer did happen these are some of my fondest 2010 almost summer memories.
*Laying out with ginger in the spring any chance we got so we would be tan goddesses before summer even hit
*Going camping. TWO times. I know it sounds like a little number and yes maybe it is but i suppose two is better than one or none. both times were fabulous and unforgettable, with new and old friends.
*Going to Bear Lake ONCE. yes once again a small unusual number, but at least i made it with my dear loved ones.
*Celebrating the fourth with my favorite spice family in this whole world.
*Laying on the tramp on a rare lazy afternoon with the cutest little farm kids you will ever meet.
*Sleeping on the tramp with dan.
*More importantly being the first and luckiest aunt ever to sleep on the inkomized tramp with my two favorite troopers. We did stay out all night and although i was a little squished it was worth it for the conversations we had before we fell asleep.
*Wishing my dear g-love off and into married life.
*Taking the most fun road trip of my life with my best friend to see my best friend and to drive my best friend home! so many best friends so many good times.
*Seeing and feeling the presence of the most beautiful wonderful kind sweet man on this planet. the ultimate best artist known to man kind jack johnson.
*attending the first ever Keeley reunion and loving ever second of it. what a good time! it has been rare to get everyone all together, but it was so fun to have EVERYONE there including my silly Erika, the sunshine girl of the century!
*Seeing my little gap toothed princess a lot while i was blessed to have them live nearby
See summer did happen even though it wasn't filled with swimming trips out the wazoozle loads of camping or even hardly a tan to remind me, the memories of my almost summer will be with me forever!

love love love

ok so lately things in my life have been breaking, dying, and i have had some rude awakenings in life. its true, i am NOT smart in computers, cars, or money. And in order for me to have any order in my life i am going to have to have a man with ALL of these qualities... YIKES i am not sure this man is out there. that is a lot to be asking for but i guess what can you do?? i try to learn all of them but the lingo is just so hard and i forget all the stuff i hear about them making it even harder to learn or do anything with them. wish me luck blogging world, i am nervous to even start looking for this gem stone of a man.

What if....

ok so in light that harry potter is soon coming out in like 2 months and i am just a little bit excited for this momentous occasion i have been thinking lately what would it be like to live in a world of magic and be around the good and bad, so here are a few things to ponder on,.

what if we could change our hair color with the flip of a wand?

what if we could just get on a broom or use floo powder or other means to transport ourselves without money to places with our loved ones

what if we had talking photos? what kind of stories would they tell us?

what if we had house elves to do all the dirty work for us on a daily basis?

what if we could just pop out a tent and voila its a completely furnished home to camp at any time anywhere?

what if albus dumbledore was real? what a lovely grandpa for the world to love

what if evil could be for the most part eliminated such as the 7th book?

what if we had magic? would cancer be gone? love be easier? dreams more accessible?

would we be able to truly go over the rainbow to find peace?

live life as if magic were in it... dont let anything stop you and in light of harry potter number 7 part 1 be excited for hero harry to live life happily ever after

forget yourself

When we concern ourselves more with others there is less time to be concerned with ourselves. The more we serve our fellowmen in appropriate ways, the more substance there is to our souls. We become more significant individuals as we serve others. We become more substansive-indeed it is easier to find ourselves because there is so much more of us to find.

summer, summer, never ever had a shorter summer!

alright summer started off great, i went up to logan for memorial day weekend like ususal and it just so happened that kay and kelsey were there. so me, kay, kels, and katie all decided to play and then playing turned to camping which was a blast as it always is with us girls.
Sunday going to church, just decided to take a picture because who knows when any of us will be together again!

sometimes when i am doing gingers hair she gets super cold. yes this was one of those times, and so she put the cape above her head and let the dryer warm her right up!I sure do miss that girl and all the crazy times we had at school, clauds, in the car, wherever!
on beck's last day of school we decided to go to our favorite restaurant. Flour Girls and Dough Boys has never had such loyal customers, and we can often be seen there on a day we get tips! Check the place out if you are ever in american fork. It is the most cute quaint little bakery/cafe i have ever been to with deluxe food and great service!
Ginger snap's last day at the forum! it was also her bridal shower and so since the three roomies were together we decided to pose for some pics on our lovely orange wall. it was such a blast living with there two girls. we definitely had some grand old times.
Down to see the coolest people cedar city has got to offer i went for the fourth of july. it was so stinking much fun to be with kris and ty and miss lydia! they are so great always and whenever i go down a good time is sure to be had. happy late 4th everyone!
at some state park in utah that i dont remember the name! still with the cloves, and on our way up to bryan head! we hiked and saw some pretty beautiful stuff that day. what an adventure!
going to seattle, we're going to have a good time! we drove and drove and drove and drove... but it was way fun and worth it! it always is when with the lovely curly locked caitlin
HELLO SEATTLE!!! hello pike place! hello to the most wonderful trip ever! we definitely can say that we spent the last few days with kirst before her wedding in style. who can honestly say that before their wedding they spent their time frolicking around seattle washington with no cares in the world?
Us three girls on the pier by some rad fountains before we sent kirst off to the temple. we had so much fun wandering around being our crazy selves together. we had not been together all of us since like november, so it was a long overdue reunion.
just a cool pipe system. who knows what its for, but i am definitely not thinking its a one way like the sign is saying... mulitple ways ahead!!
seattle from the convertible that brought us there.
we decided to take a ferry ride over to the cutest little island called bainbridge. we got there pretty late so all the shops were closed up but it was so cute and so quiet and i am sure in the day time it is a great place to be. and it was at night time too! the sun was setting and we just got to get away from all the people for a minute and wander around the park and sit at the waters edge.

pulling up to bainbridge after the joyous little ferry ride

cait smelling the beautiful flowers at the beginning of our island adventures!
all of the names i paid attention to on the island were sea names and this was just harbor square sign in the setting sun. so much beauty is all around us if we just open our eyes and look!
where we decided to wait for the next ferry to take us back to seattle. it was so quiet because all the boats had come in for the evening and the longer we sat there the more lights started turning on in the most beautiful beach houses across the harbor.
the little town of mukiltea. i dont know why i have such an intense love for lighthouses but we decided to drive up there because some great ladies told us there was a lighthouse there, but other than that the town was pretty small but the beach was fun and there were kids and families enjoying the nice weather.
there was the most random tree stump from who knows where just at the water's edge waiting to be climbed upon. so many grand beautiful things to be found and seen on the west coast journey.
When we first arrived at edmunds there was the cutest dad and son and after he was watching us take pictures of eachother he offered to take pictures of us. he was so great and just wanted to talk and talk to us about our travels and such. it's not very often that you meet people from Wyoming in a tiny town in Washington.
the sun setting over the bay in a little town called Edmunds. it was such a gorgeous sunset and we had such a a glorious time at the little tiny beach reading books, and drawing in the sand.
Cute callie with her tongue out. she was so excited to be climbing with all of us and the tongue out only confirmed her concentration when it was her turn!
Liz and i happened to be rock climbing at the same time, and when i was coming down and she was going up we decided to stop on a ledge and take some pictures. i was so proud of those two little girls for climbing as high as they did and for just hanging out while the rest of us climbed.
one of the nights at the first official Keeley reunion. spencer for some odd reason decided he wanted to kiss my entire face while eating oreos, so i became an oreo as well! what a silly kid. he would grab my head hold it still and plant a big one wherever he was going.
It was so fun to get to take the girls with me to the concert! we had such a blast, got there early as pie, saved seats for all to enjoy, and basked in the glory of jack johnson together. i would not have wanted to spend this night with anyone else other than the wonderful girls i shared it with!
ginger--- my date to the big night! her and jon bought the tickets for me for my birthday, one for me one for a date, and turns out she was the best date i could ever hope for! and i didnt really want to spend it with anyone else actually! what a wonderful gal to leave her husband for a night for me! talk about love...
The setup of USANA, i cant complain about where we were, we could sit, stand, dance, and still see him at least on the big old screen they had! Such beautiful images were put up on that screen! i wanted to take a picture of everything that would come up but as soon as i got the camera out the image would be replaced with another one. what an AMAZING concert! JACK JOHNSON I LOVE YOU!
Me and my jack lovers, cait and aubree, at the end of the most beautiful concert known to man kind. it was so great and so fun to share it with all my blonde girls!
Last night i was picking up gretch and we came upon this stop sign. I just love running into stop signs that have been graffitied... they are so funny and i always wonder what the person was doing or thinking when they did what they did to them. so message of the day, "STOP listening to awful music"!
