Decisions

who is in charge of giving me decisions? I want to have a chat with them about giving me great choices, so great that i feel i can never choose.
for example:
to make the decision to date your best friend or not...
to accept a job that could last as long as i want it to or one just for the summer.
then the more simple things like what to make for dinner or lunch or breakfast and where to go for the weekend.
what advice to give somebody in an advice giving situation.
i know that everyone is faced with decisions and thoughts like these but how do you not crack like an egg under the pressure of the wonderful choices.
nothing is bad, it's all good. which is what makes it even more difficult to decide. it doesn't matter what side of the fence you get off on sometimes. What matters most is getting off. You cannot make progress without making decisions. -Jim Rohn

A tale of two cities

once upon a time there was a girl. this girl loved to travel more than anything, but there was a slight problem. this girl moved to a smaller town with a smaller business and did not have a lot of money to travel with.
one day she was talking with her friends about an upcoming break.
they decided that they would get money and go to a crazy town.
they decided to go to VEGAS!
They also decided to take a van there... and fill the van up with people.
You may ask what they planned to do once they got there...
hmmm well they were thinking they would run out of money getting there so they opted to take their swimming suits and just swim the whole time.
FUN RIGht?!?!?

Then this random girl thinking that would suffice her urge to see the world in one swipe of the las vegas strip didnt dream of doing anything else for fear that it would not come true.

She was frolicking through some children's hair cuts when she heard the jingling of her cel phone.

it was her mother so she answered promptly to hear "I just booked a beach house in CAPE MEARES OREGON"

Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh this girl was thinking. then it was holy smokes i dont even know where cape meares is. then it was pure delight because discovering new places is her favorite thing to do.

You may wonder what this girl is going to do in Cape Meares.....

Well the beach home comes ready with canoe... so there will be lots of time spent canoing in the lake(yes there is a lake) and hopefully the ocean (yes we have the ocean too) and this girl began to think I am the luckiest girl in the world.

tide pools.... ever heard of them? word on the street is that there is some cave with stellar pools inside.

maybe biking? have to talk the parents into bringing the cruiser.

honestly who gets to see two completely different places in a month with some of the greatest people there is to offer. and have you seen this light house recently? yeah that's what i thought. GORGEOUS! this girl can not wait. February is going to go too slow i am afraid.

Flower girls and I love you's

Today I opened my phone to the ultimate best message.
"Callie is wondering fi she can be one of your flower girls when you get married??!! She is planning in advance. I am not sure what made her think of this today but she was really worried that you would have asked other people and not asked her. love you"
It doesn't get better than that. What a sweet sweet girl first of all, and second of all how lucky am I to have someone so willing to help me out that she is planning far far in advance.

I should have put this on here a while ago but i didn't so here is the lucky i love you part :)
There I was just chatting on my phone to one of my favorite people miss Lydia Grace. It was time for me to say goodbye, but you must know that she does not like to say goodbye. I said I love you Lydia and of course she said I love you Susan woosan (or some syllable close to w) and then I decided I really wanted her to know that I do in fact love her so we started the I love you game. Eventually she said I love you 12 minutes, so in turn I said I love you 13 minutes. We went on to 15 and then I said I love you 167 minutes, in turn I received I love you 16 100 minutes. (her of course thinking the next number would be 16 since she had last said 14 and thought I would say 15. What a special girl.
I am so lucky to have these girls in my life! i just LOVE them both 16 100 minutes and am so lucky for them and all the other fabulous children my life is blessed with.
