blessed

WOW what a summer. what a summer. lots of road trips, weddings, and love. I am so completely blessed as i sit here writing this blog. What started out as a great summer ended as one as well. Who cares about the ups and downs and the in betweens. I have the best family in the world, the best friends I could ever ask for, and have gone to some of the best and coolest places anyone could ever want to go to. (pictures promised soon) July, I dont even hardly remember. The end was filled with sharing my ginger with the love of her life, which was so great to finally get to see them together forever, with everything that entailed. how great love is! then quickly the week after me and Cait drove up to Seattle to send our loveliest Kirst and Scott on their merry little wedded way. So many weddings from all the people i love and know the best in my life. I feel so blessed to have spent the last days with ging and to have had the privelage to grow up with kirst and to have been able to spend the last week with her for one last go at it with the girls! then back to reality i came. back to school and work which was at this point the craziest and most busy season that the lehi cookie cutters has had. wow. wow wow wow. As the days have gone by i have done some very wonderful things. Just chatting with my wonderful roomates, (gretch and alli) and spending time riding bikes with the gilbert family on sunday evenings.
Last saturday was so great, i was sitting in school when in walked a friend that has left and gone to canada. WHAT A SURPRISE! it was so wonderful to see Laura, she is just one of those superb ladies who knows so much and has sadly experienced every thing there is to experience, but can then advise and listen and it was so enlightening to have her with me and to talk to her once again. And the best part is that we went and saw Eat, Pray, Love. AMAZING! If anyone is every in need of a life changing movie that is the one to see. I can honestly say that it changed my life. It was such an eye opener because after everything that we go through in life, there is still hope. As long as we have a dream we can dream it. And as long as we are willing to perservere through the rough times there will be a time in our life that is so blissful and full of joy that we can hardly handle it. wow what a great time. Just hang in there, life is worth it in the end!

Hello one Hello all

It's my time to update, Hello blogging world! I am just sitting at my lovely house in Wyoming enjoying the calm night and watching mom fix my clothes while blogging and putting music on the computer for dan. wow what a great full eve! I have so many pictures to show but sadly can not put them on now except for ones that are a tad old. oh well what do you do? post the old ones of course so everyone can know of the fun times i have had in the past! and so you all know i am going to the wonderful bear lake tomorrow so more fun times are to be expected excitedly. what a great time to be home this has been! filled with friends, family, and hair! friday night was kirst's bridal shower and holy moly how strange it is to be giving her away! i almost feel like a parent and i dont know if its good or bad... ha ha ok so its so good! just sad to see one fall out of the nest. 1 down some to go! i just love coming home because i always feel so completely loved by everyone around. my family especially this time. its so great to be yelled at while driving away from a almost 3 year old saying "BYE BYE LOVE YOU" over and over again until i am out of sight and being jumped on by a little rambunctious hippie as i pull into the house. and you cant forget the unforgettable smile by the chubby king... what a welcome committee they have going. i just cant wait to see my adorable biker and frog prince! and wish i could just play with these little presents all the time. someday we will all be able to play and play and play until our hearts are content.Have a lovely day and dream a disney dream if anything gets you down, or even if you are feeling up!

all things happen for a reason

Alright so let's begin at the beginning. There we were (me, roomate ginger, and friend liza) in the car on the way to wyoming to wish good friend mark good luck on the mission. It was the beginning of what was supposed to be an epic weekend full of a glorious road trip and saddened goodbyes. Coming out of coalville my almost dead phone starting ringing with the highlighted name "home" thinking they were just wondering where we were on our journey i happily answered the phone and started chatting immediately while not really listening because liza was telling a ridiculously important story about a boy... then the words "grandpa fell" rang through my ears and to be honest i dont really remember the rest of the phone call. i pulled over crawled into the passenger seat rather than the drivers and told ging to drive to ogden. this grand adventure was turning very quickly and not for the better.
After crying the drive to ogden, thank goodness we were close to the ogden exit and didnt have to turn around or anything of that sort, we ran into the hospital ready for anything and everything. after walking into grandpa's room and being reassured that all was ok the first thing he says tome is "dont you have a boyfriend yet?" this was after he scanned the room to make sure no boys were in tow... oh gramps what a gem, caring about everyone else ALWAYS even while he was connected to tubes and uncomfortable to boot he was asking about me and wondering why i had girls with and not boys.. ha ha so we visited for awhile and after talking to the nurses and being told he would still be stable the next morning and being told countless times from gramps that he was "fine" we decided we probably should get some sleep seeing as it was a long long night and we still could make it to wyo to say the nervous goodbye the next morning.
well morning came and part of me will always regret the decision i made to stay in salt lake but i guess we make all choices for a reason and although i dont know why i made that decision maybe one day i will. sunday was filled with a wonderful hospital visit and good times with the family in my beautiful summery farewell mark dress and thoughts that i could be enjoying the day with old friends at home but there i sat. then on the drive home to utah county ginger kept saying just go just go just go, and now monday morning i wonder why i didnt. this better have a dang good reason for staying here because there is a giant hole in my heart at this moment in time.
all things happen for a reason, and if you know my reason let me know!
