fall frenzy

crafting frenzy. this fall i decided that i needed to spice up our apartment. yaya. yes those are bobby pins, and yes they will work out to put christmas things on them as well and valentines day and such. the batty idea came from kristin the lovely lady. they were on our door but when we put the wreath on it was just too much. and they look way more cool on the wall and  ceiling. love my life. love it.

the long board

A couple of weeks ago i decided that i wanted to try long boarding.

everbody in logan does it, word on the street is that its easier than skateboarding, and my friend happens to have two long boards and wanted to teach me how.

so first time around i rocked it.

it just so happens that me on flat surfaces with a board produce stellar results.

last night.

we got together again and decided what the heck lets go boarding.

he suggests lets go somewhere with a little hill, you totally got this you will be fine.

me "yeah awesome, i am going to be so cool now, people will see me flying down old main and think, 'i wish i could board like her!'

we came to the apartment grabbed kaci who also has a board and proceeded to the little hill.

which is in a church parking lot so really its little little.

we got on the boards and kaci who had never seen me was like oh you are good!

now my confidence is up and i am going to rock this little hill.

then the sidewalk was getting closer and closer...

thinking jumping off on a little hill was just as easy as a flat surface i decided to just hop off.

well...... i..... hopped...... and..... i...... skipped the stopping once i hopped and face planted on the asphault.

yes go me.

first longboard wound. i got up and was like yeah lets go again! this is cool.

beau pulled me into the light and kaci came running over and both are like uh no you need to get this cleaned up. i had cottage cheese in my mouth and it was not from the food, and when i put my hand up it came down covered in blood.

love my life. oh gosh.

the best part you cant see here because my teeth were also covered in blood.

the roomies

so this is for mom so i dont have to awkwardly send her the names :) here are the roomies. 4 of the most crazy awesome girls i have ever met. how on earth did i get so dang lucky?

amanda. probably 6 ft tall... with about as much hair! this gal is so great. we share a room and there is never a dull moment. i just love her already and feel like i have known her for years.

amy. the sweetest thing. we have simalar schedules on tuesdays and thursdays and i am probably the luckiest girl to get to walk with this lady to school. she is so great and holy smokes never met a nicer girl.

kaci. one foot shorter than amanda but there were never better friends. one of the first things kaci told me was... i hope you dont mind, i am pretty loud. i knew we were meant to be the moment she said that. LOUD is me!

kaylee. little miss kaylee. love her laugh. she is just such a doll. she is so beautiful and has the biggest heart! so cute.









yes if you are wondering i am a blonde in a sea of brunettes. and do i love it? YES! do they love it? YES! ha at first they would say you know you are pretty much the only blonde we like... they are just such a blast to be around and honestly we are laughing for the better part of every day. love these gals! they are too grand!
